WHITTON PARK

Public BBQ

Whitton Park proved to be one of those pleasant surprises that restore your faith in local council maintenance. The first thing that strikes you is how remarkably tidy the grounds are – clearly someone takes pride in keeping this place presentable. The kids will find plenty of space to burn off their energy, which is precisely what every parent hopes for in a neighbourhood park. There's some interesting tower art that adds a bit of character to the setting, giving the place more personality than your typical suburban green space. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, making it the sort of spot where you wouldn't hesitate to stop if you're passing through Whitton. It's nothing fancy, but sometimes the simple, well-kept parks are exactly what you need for a quick break or to let the children run about for a while.
